โครงการบูรณาการการเรียนการสอนโดยใช้แรงบันดาลใจจากฮูปแต้มอีสานวัดไชยศรีเรื่อง “สินไซ” สู่ของเล่นกลไกอย่างง่ายเพื่อเป็นสื่อการเรียนรู้สำหรับเด็ก
เมื่อวันที่ 8 กันยายน 2568 คณะอาจารย์และนักศึกษาสาขาวิชาการออกแบบ คณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ ชั้นปีที่ 3 จำนวน 51 คน ได้ร่วมกันนำเสนอผลงานการออกแบบที่เกิดจากการบูรณาการทุนวัฒนธรรมพื้นถิ่นอีสาน ผ่านรายวิชา “การออกแบบด้วยการวิจัยปฐมภูมิ (Design by Primary Research)” AR 043 201 ซึ่งเป็นรายวิชาที่เน้นการพัฒนาแนวคิดในการออกแบบ หลักการ และกระบวนการออกแบบอย่างเป็นระบบ
โดยโครงการนี้มีความพิเศษตรงที่ได้เชื่อมโยงภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นเข้ากับการศึกษาสมัยใหม่ โดยนำ ฮูปแต้ม วัดไชยศรี อำเภอสาวะถี จังหวัดขอนแก่น ที่ปรากฏวรรณกรรมพื้นบ้านเรื่อง “สินไซ” มาเป็นแรงบันดาลใจหลัก นักศึกษาได้ลงพื้นที่จริงเพื่อศึกษาข้อมูล สัมผัสคุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรม และทดลองเทคนิคต่างๆ จนสามารถพัฒนาของเล่นกลไกอย่างง่ายที่เหมาะสำหรับเด็ก
จุดเด่นของกิจกรรมคือ การส่งมอบของเล่นผลิตภัณฑ์ต้นแบบกลไกอย่างง่ายสำหรับเด็กที่พัฒนาขึ้นในชั้นเรียนแก่มูลนิธิช่วยเหลือเด็ก (บ้านลูกรัก ขอนแก่น) เพื่อเป็นประโยชน์ในการส่งเสริมการศึกษาเรียนรู้ของเด็กๆ ต่อไป นอกจากนี้ ยังมีกิจกรรมเล่าเรื่องสินไซ โดยวิทยากร คุณฝ้าย-ทิพยาภรณ์ กัณฑวงศ์ และคุณหลิว-พงศธร พุทธโคตร จากโฮงสินไซ ขอนแก่น ซึ่งช่วยให้นักศึกษาเข้าใจเนื้อหาและเชื่อมโยงกับผลิตภัณฑ์และเพื่อให้กิจกรรมสำเร็จลุล่วงไปได้ด้วยดี
โครงการนี้ดำเนินการภายใต้การควบคุมและดูแลของทีมอาจารย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ประกอบด้วย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุภาพร อรรถโกมล, ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.รัตติกร ศิริขันต์ บุตรลา, อาจารย์ ดร.ขวัญหทัย ธาดา และอาจารย์มนต์ธิดา เลิศนิมานรดี ซึ่งร่วมกันสร้างสรรค์การเรียนการสอนที่มีคุณค่าและยั่งยืน

Khon Kaen Architecture Students Transform Local Mural Art into Educational Toys
KHON KAEN – Students from Khon Kaen University’s Faculty of Architecture have successfully integrated local cultural heritage with modern design principles, developing simple mechanical toys inspired by the “Sin Sai” mural paintings found at Wat Chai Sri in Sawathi District, Khon Kaen. These innovative educational tools are designed for children.
On September 8, 2025, 51 third-year students from the Department of Design presented their collaborative works, which were developed as part of the “Design by Primary Research” course (AR 043 201). This course emphasizes systematic design thinking, principles, and processes.
The project uniquely connects local wisdom with contemporary education. Students drew primary inspiration from the “Hoop Taem” (traditional murals) at Wat Chai Sri, which depict the folk literature of “Sin Sai.” They conducted on-site research to understand the cultural value and experimented with various techniques, culminating in the creation of easy-to-use mechanical toys suitable for children.
A key highlight of the initiative was the donation of these prototype mechanical toys to the Baan Look Rak Children’s Foundation in Khon Kaen, aiming to support and enhance children’s learning. The event also featured a storytelling session about “Sin Sai” by Ms. Thipaya-porn Kanthawong and Mr. Pongsathorn Phutthakot from Hong Sin Sai Khon Kaen, which helped students deepen their understanding of the narrative and its connection to their designs.
The project was overseen by a team of expert faculty members, including Assistant Professor Dr. Supaporn Atthakomol, Assistant Professor Dr. Rattikorn Sirikhan Butla, Lecturer Dr. Kwanhathai Thada, and Lecturer Monthida Lertnimanradee, who collectively fostered a valuable and sustainable learning experience.
